Community Support Service, City of Wolverhampton Council

Community Support is a Confidential Advice and Information Service that aims to enable residents that are over the age of 18 to prevent isolation and promote independence and well-being.

The Community Support Workers based within this team offer a range of Information and advice individually tailored for your needs and put you in touch with appropriate organisations and sources of support.

The Community support Service has set up Talking Points throughout Wolverhampton where a meaningful conversation can be had about accessing services/groups in your local community to reduce isolation through community connecting and help maintain your Independence through preventative Services.

Talking Points give you the opportunity to have face to face chat with a Community Support worker in your local community. The Community Support Worker would support you to help you to help yourself, find activities and organisations in your community whilst highlighting your strengths and enhancing your well-being
